Your right to privacy while using the Internet is very important to CoSport.  CoSport is committed to helping you maintain control over your personal data.  We respect your right to control how much information you provide about yourself.
CoSport has created this Privacy Policy to disclose our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your personal information is collected and used at the Website. 


COLLECTING INFORMATION ABOUT YOU
We do not collect personally identifiable information on our Website unless you voluntarily provide information about yourself. For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “personally identifiable information” means any individual information about a user of our Website including, but not limited to, your first and last name, contact information (such as your mailing address, telephone number and/or fax, and E-mail address), and financial information (such as your credit card number) if you wish to purchase products or services via the Website. 
There may be times (such as when you purchase or order a product, subscribe to a service, register to receive catalogs, or to participate in contests, sweepstakes or promotions, etc.) when we ask you to provide certain information about yourself, such as your name, shipping/billing address, telephone number, email address, credit card information, birth date, gender, occupation, personal interests, etc. We may also maintain a record of your product purchases.

CoSport may disclose to the NOC of the respective represented country and the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXI Olympiad and other Olympic organizing bodies or governmental entities as may be required, information regarding Customer, including type of package purchased, name, address, email address and other information.

We may disclose aggregate information about users of our Website to Partners, NOC’s, VANOC, other organizing bodies and third parties. For example, we may disclose to any of these parties that X% of Website users reside in United States, or Y% of Website users purchased Figure Skating tickets, etc. Our disclosure of aggregate information does not permit the recipient of such data to identify or contact any individual user of the Website.

We may disclose any personal information that you provide to us to our service providers with respect to the Website, provided that such service providers have agreed to only use such personal information to the extent necessary to perform services on behalf of CoSport.  

We use the financial information that you voluntarily provide to us solely to charge you for products and services you have ordered via the Website.
We may use and disclose your personal information: as is required by law; to comply with legal process; to investigate claims with respect to use of the Website; as is reasonably necessary to enforce the terms of the Terms and Conditions; and as is reasonably necessary to protect the interests, rights or property of CoSport and its member organizations.

PROTECTION OF CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF THIRTEEN
CoSport, does not knowingly collect any personal information from child under the age of thirteen without the consent of that child’s parent or guardian.  Additionally, we do not send e-mail correspondence to anyone who tells us that they are under the age of 13 without their parents or guardians consent.

Children under the age of thirteen should always ask their parents or guardians for permission before providing any personal information to anyone online.  We encourage parents and guardians to participate in their children’s online activities and use parental control or other web-filtering technology to supervise children’s access to the web.

USE OF LOG FILES
As true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol addresses (“IP”), browser type, internet service provider (“ISP”), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp and clickstream data.  .

When a user accesses web pages on our Website, our servers automatically log the user's information.  We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track users movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.

However, once you provide us with your “personally identifiable information” for the purposes of completing an order, we do link this automatically collected data.
